HELPING PEOPLE FIND AND FOLLOW JESUS
That is why we exist. At Journey Church we have a crazy dream to share the life changing message of Jesus with each of the over 2.5 million people who call this valley home. We have a vision of planting multiple small communities of faith throughout the Vegas Valley and surrounding areas that will be a blessing to our valley and our world.
We believe that vision is shaped by creating a church culture where we prioritize three simple things.
We gather together on Sundays to worship, EXPERIENCE God and grow together.
We CONNECT with each other, outside of the four walls of the church, building our lives together.
And we SERVE - helping those who need us locally and around the world.
We believe we can be culturally relevant without abandoning Scriptural truths.
We believe gathering regularly with a community of faith is vital to healthy spiritual growth.
We believe our teaching and preaching should always have Scriptural foundation.
We believe the Church should be safe for all people to grow at their own pace.
We believe the Church is a family.
We believe there is One God.
We believe His name is Jesus.
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord." - Deuteronomy 6:4
"There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,
who is over all, in all, and living through all." - Ephesians 4:5-6
We believe that every person since Adam and Eve has been born into sin.
We believe that forgiveness and salvation is freely offered, because of the death,
burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that when you repent and have been baptized in the name of Jesus, you identify with the death and burial of Jesus, and that He will fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”
Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:37-38
